More Done Than I Thought.

I'm approaching Chapter 26 in the book (there are 35 all together, so far) in this go-round of editing and re-writing. So far I haven't encountered any holes or great gaping places where I need to write linking passages. 

I'm shocked about this.  Shocked. Because I was sure that only the first 7 chapters or so were substantially complete. I think I can cautiously posit that at the very least all of Part 1 (chapters 1-19) and Part II (20-28) are basically complete. 

We'll see what happens as I get into Part III tomorrow. (I should be able to finish editing chapters 26-28 this evening.) 

I'm working hard to remember my goal of having this book done rather than having it a perfect. Or even good.

Playing 80s music too loudly while writing is working fairly well to keep me from taking the book, and myself, too seriously.
