There was so much that was difficult about our move to this house, not the least of which was the termite damage in our kitchen. But now I have a proper kitchen without any holes in the floor, and I have this sink. I compromised an awful lot on the kitchen, on nearly everything. But not on the sink itself. I got the sink I really wanted, one that was the width of a standard double bowl sink but which was one large single bowl. And I love it to pieces. It will hold nearly three bushels of garden produce, the whole broiler rack from my oven will lay flat in it for soaking, and my huge canner fits, too.

That is a gorgeous sink! Right now, I would settle for the raised faucet and the sprayer, but since we're renting, I don't see it happening. On the other hand, when the old fridge here quit working, we received a brand new fridge to replace it, and a pretty nice one. So there's that.
