Writing Clean.

Curious. 

 

What is helping me most while I edit my fiction writing, what is pushing me to write better, cleaner, and more useful sentences is two things completely unrelated to fiction writing.

 

One is William Zinsser's On Writing Well , which is a book specifically about writing non-fiction and the other is the method of writing and editing poetry that I learned in college in my poetry classes.
